In accordance with Etoco's  operating standards, we carry out environmental impact reviews before we begin exploration and production in any area. In that way, we identify any potential impact our activities might have on the area's flora and fauna - and design our operations to minimize any potentially adverse effects.

Pollution Prevention

Etoco's goal under our Waste Minimization Plan is to reduce the potential impact on the environment, to conserve resources and minimize the potential liability to the company from the generation of waste. The plan defines the mission of managing our wastes under a clearly defined hierarchy of preference: first, elimination or source reduction; second, recycling/reuse; and, lastly treatment and proper disposal.
